The sweater

This little trick is like the shuffle. First stack 6-8 poker chips, then place your hand on them. The index finger and thumb should be placed on one side of the stack and the rest of the fingers on the other. Take one from the stack and set it aside, then flip the other half onto the stack in one smooth, easy motion. Now this will impress your friends!

the twist of the finger

Here is another hack that is simple, easy and awesome. In reality, you will simply throw a poker chip onto a stack of poker chips that you have. The best way to start is with a stack of three tiles.

So how do you do this? Take a small stack of 3 chips in hand. Place your index finger and thumb in the center of the chip, with the rest of your fingers to the side. Using these fingers, slide the 2 back tiles down using your thumb to hold them up to prevent them from falling off. When they slide down, make the front tile jump back with your index finger. Remember that this little trick takes some practice, so perfect it before showing it off to your friends.

The beauty of both of these poker chip tricks is that they are simple and repetitive so you can sit at the table and play with your chips as you please. When you get really good at this, we’ll move on to lesson two: irritating your friends for fun and profit.
