The Chronicles of Madness – Episode 22

In our 22nd episode of Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at the craziness of our not-so-self-expression in America. Remember, insanity is a state of mental illness, especially severe, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frantic or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at the evidence of our rapid decline in free speech amid the onslaught from the left.

At Arizona State University, they recently rescinded an offer they had made to a dean of journalism candidate. His fatal flaw? He had tweeted support for the police. What what? Moving on to Florida State University, the student government voted overwhelmingly to remove its president. His dirty deed? In a private chat room, he shared his Catholic beliefs on the LGBTQ issue.

UCLA recently removed a professor who disagreed with a student who wanted preferential treatment for being black. The speaker asked for an explanation of the policy he violated. He is still waiting. At Winthrop University, a professor was censored. Pretty serious business there. His crime of him? He used the term ‘Wuhan Virus’ in a discussion. Am I in the Twilight Zone?

The University of Texas has suspended an award-winning professor for sending tweets that negatively portrayed Barry Sortero and Kamala Harris. How is this possible? An epidemiologist who disagrees with the COVID-19 narrative has been pulled from YouTube. Let’s not disagree with the PC police.

Moving on to Snob Hill, Stanford University took issue with an art history professor who was revealing what the NWA title really stood for in a rap group. He then had the nerve to write the lyrics to one of his songs on the board. The students were outraged. The professors’ names have disappeared from the Stanford website, but they are not answering questions. The teacher is supposed to be gone.

A professor at the University of Alberta in Canada was recently laid off. In his case, his statements were totally unreasonable. He told the class that he believed biological sex, both male and female, were real. It is very difficult to understand this type of thinking and violation of rights.

Here is one that is really special. A professor at the University of North Texas was recently fired. And he makes perfect sense to anyone in his right mind. It seems that the teacher was called because he called some flyers scattered through the trash of the students. The brochures denounced microaggressions by students in the classroom. they are rubbish. The boss of the teachers (who knew they had bosses) offered him ‘re-education’ and the teacher refused. Good for him.

In the words of the Big Apple, New York Mayor Bill DiBlasio has declared that he is permanently banning first amendment rights. I guess that’s one way of not violating our First Amendment rights. And in Scottsdale, Arizona, we hear from that always fair and impartial CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations). They filed this week against Scottsdale Community College seeking an injunction against a professor for course content having ‘the principal disapproving effect of Islam’. What has come of the First Amendment?

Let’s wake up from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you good health and until next time have fun, enjoy life and stay tuned for the craziness among us.
