Aion Strategy Guides – Aion Strategy For Asmodian Abyss Entry Mission
Since the Abyss attunement quests are quite complicated, I had to use some Aion strategy guides to figure out the easiest way to access the Abyss. It is very important for any player to start the Abyss quest chain to enter this area because all the quests here give you good XP and also Abyss Points (AP). Most mobs are good for grinding as they have a rich loot table, plus they give more XP than mobs from areas outside of the Abyss.
As a regret, I’ve been working through some Aion strategy guides to benefit from all the information available on the Abyss quest chain. Therefore, in this article I am going to describe the 4 phases of this Asmodian faction quest.
1. In the first phase of the Abyss Attunement quest chain, you will work on the “Hone Your Skills” quest. Go to the Asmodian capital city of Pandemonium and talk to Balder, located in the Great Temple of Pandemonium. It will redirect you to Therf, in the Triniel Coliseum. Continue the search and return to Balder. As you complete “Hone Your Skills”, you will be rewarded with 10k XP and 250 AP.
2. Accept “General Knowledge of the Abyss” from Balder. He will send you to the Temple of Knowledge to meet 3 other NPCs, Phosphor, Moreinen and Kushar. Each NPC will ask you 3 questions and for each question you will be given a list of 3 very obvious answers. After finishing all 3 Trial Trials, you will be sent to the National Assembly Building to talk to Kvasir and complete the “General Knowledge of the Abyss” quest.
3. The third part of the quest chain is “Follow Up”. He should talk to Aegir, located in the Morheim Ice Fortress and with Gram, inside the Triniel Coliseum in Pandemonium. You’ll be given 3 quests and as the Aion strategy guides told me, the one that requires killing Morheim creatures is the easiest to complete, so pick that one. For this step, you need to kill 3 Guzzlin Kurin and 3 Dark Lake Spirits in the Salintus Desert, and also 3 Klaw Lookers found in the Mushpel Gate. Then return to Aegir and finish the quest. You will receive a 10k Kinah reward, a nice Manastone and 250 AP.
4. The last part of the Abyss Access Chain quest is “The Last Checkpoint”. You accept this quest from Aegir after finishing “Tracking” and you will be sent to speak with Yornduf in the Morheim Ice Fortress. Yornduf will give you 1:40 minutes to fly through 6 portals, which is pretty easy. To end this quest, talk to Yornduf again, report to Aegir. Congratulations! Now you can enter the Abyss.
