This helps save energy and costs. Another example is the use of electronic documentation among management teams, a solution that effectively reduces paper consumption unless absolutely necessary.

The above technologies are basically employed by most of the top tier hotels, simply because they can afford it. However, with today’s technological advances, some innovations will become more accessible to mid-range properties. Without a doubt, technology plays an important role in all aspects of hotel operation. From seemingly simple telecommunications upgrades to complete suites of property management systems, technology drives service and makes many things possible for hotels. It helps drive business, making management easier and enabling a more personalized and enhanced guest experience.
