15 ways to release stress

You’re stressed?

  • Do you have a constant bad mood and feel that the whole world is your enemy?
  • Do you feel under tremendous pressure that is hardly bearable?
  • Do you hear your family and friends complain about the poor treatment they receive from you?

Now is the time to act.

How?

Look at the following tips:

1. Learn to say no. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and stressed because we take on everything that people ask of us. Be selective and think about what you really want to take on.

two. Express your needs. How many times it happens that we are angry because things do not happen as we want. And then we realize that we didn’t even say what or how we want. Don’t be shy, tell others about your needs and wants.

3. Relax. Find out what helps you relax. It could be yoga or meditation, breathing or massage for you, everyone has different methods for this.

Four. Take a break. How? Get away for the weekend somewhere nice, enjoy a swim, a good movie or a candlelight dinner. Decorate your house with flowers, read a good book in a park. The number of possibilities is unlimited.

5. Make time for your hobbies. Sometimes focusing on a single issue contributes to a high level of stress. Reserve some time for your hobbies and you will see how this will fill you with energy again.

6. Talk to people. Surround yourself with positive people, talk to them or just listen to them. They can inspire or help you, if only as a sounding board.

7. Make your feelings known. Find a way to express your feelings. Talk to others or write a journal or just hit your pillow.

8. Prioritize. When you feel overwhelmed with too many things on your to-do list, figure out what’s important and urgent and take care of those things first.

9. Keep a regular schedule. Habits can help you reduce your stress level.

10 Have a constructive internal dialogue with yourself. Don’t talk bad about yourself and let go of negative beliefs such as “I’m worthless”, “I was even rejected for this job”, etc.

eleven Do some sport. Sports are a very good way to decompress, you can use the energy that you would spend on dealing with your stress for other purposes. And it’s healthy too!

12 Eat healthy food. Make sure your body and mind are getting what they should be getting and that they have adequate nutrient intake.

13. Ask yourself: really worth it? Is it really worth bothering or stressing about it? Will stress help you? Probably not, so why do it?

14 Get professional help. Talk to your coach or therapist to help you get out of your negative frame of mind.

fifteen. Take note of the positives. Even if you feel like you are having the worst day of your life, something positive always happens. Make a list of positives, however small, and remind yourself of these instead of negatives.

“The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.”
