Teach children to think and prevent cheating at school, work and on the Internet

Are we really teaching our children to think or just making them memorize meaningless facts that they can now look up on the internet in half a second? One of the themes that I have considered in all of this is the way we teach children to think. At school, how many times did you copy sentences onto 3 X 5 index cards to study and memorize; so they can answer the exam question, right? We train human minds to be malformed.

In fact, considering this horrible problem, I’m glad I personally trained my brain in a different way. Sometimes we don’t understand the long term damage we do by teaching children to recite information, memorize it, since all we are doing is creating walking encyclopedias and putting them on a course and style of copying the correct answers to get the answers. This copy motive also seems to increase cheating, but are we really training our children to cheat?

Either way, once we train their brains to think in terms of copying responses to their brains to recite later, we shouldn’t be surprised by the behavior or results later in life. We tell kids not to cheat or plagiarize because it’s dishonest.

So maybe this is why we have so many cheaters, rewriters, and copiers here. Because we train them inadvertently, then maybe the way we teach children and our education system is a bit wrong as well.

Although children know better and know that when making reports they should not download things verbatim from the Internet. But do they rewrite things and cheat, copy each other, even buy reports online? I present to you that we are training fraudulent acts for the future.

This does not make it right or justify it at all, it is still stealing, but it is perhaps one of the root causes. We train children to memorize, not think, then in the real world, we cheat like Dickens. Should we be surprised that humans no longer think? I mean look at the way some of them vote. Most people just agree with what is in the mass media, television and newspapers these days.

This problem is so pervasive that facing these questions is almost horrible to consider. So how serious is the problem of plagiarism, copyright infringement and cheating in school; It’s a pandemic.
