Positive Relationships With Women – Would YOU Pass Your Own Girlfriend Test? Avoid toxic friends

Positive women love to have girlfriends, but we also need a detailed list of what we’re looking for, just like we have when looking for the right man.

Drama queens don’t need to apply and complaining victims can keep walking because what positive women need as friends is other positive women!

Negative women drag us down even when we do everything we can to “help” them be happier or more positive. YOU need healthy friends and I dare say you probably need to eliminate some of the ones you currently have for reasons you know of, whether you recognize them or not.

Would you pass your own friend test?

To be friends with a positive woman, you already have to be. On the contrary, you will drag them down if you attract them to a friendship at all.

NOTE: Many positive women have gone from being “victims” or “drama queens” to having worked hard on themselves and make excellent friend candidates! We don’t need a “project” so choose carefully, avoiding tragic women who still gossip and blame others for how their life turned out. We need a good, intelligent, supportive friend with whom we can talk, exchange ideas and share our innermost feelings. No dangernot a woman who is going to tell everyone in the office what we told her.

Here are some features that I have on my friend list:

  1. Understand that anger, frustration, and hurt need to be processed rather than ignored
  2. The ability and willingness to call me on my things (which helps me grow)
  3. Take responsibility for your life instead of blaming and complaining.
  4. Live in daily gratitude
  5. Good sense of humor
  6. Responsible / Trustworthy (this implies taking responsibility for your life)
  7. He realizes that an effective pity party lasts only 4 to 20 minutes.
  8. She forgives herself and sees mistakes as lessons.
  9. Takes care of herself – mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually
  10. Healthy self-esteem and personal boundaries
  11. Trust your instincts

I know that women are powerful and can create their ideal life and become who they want to be, but I also know that not all women believe that, let alone act on it.

Finding yourself a community of positive women who understand their power and use it instead of giving it away, as we’ve been taught to do since we were kids, is a BIG step in becoming the woman you can and want to be. You have the power!
