One more day

I took your hand, you slowly pushed it away. I needed your smile to light my way.
These are the feelings that keep me calm, like the constant running of a horse, my heart beats with pride.
Freshly cut roses make a sweet tea with scents of lilac and mint strong as could be. Their
Chocolate-coated fingers plunged deep into my soul, echoes of I love you spoke clear and cold. The ride was smooth, there were no bumps in the road. As we move forward to never look back, new dimensions unfold.

I took your hand, your response was strong, we needed each other, everything worked out. We couldn’t do anything wrong. Candy-coated thoughts filled my head as she looked into your eyes. Instead, I saw myself. I was in your body every beat of your heart I dare not say or at least impart. Silence can be golden, but like a fool, I’ll rush in and say let’s get together and try again one more day.

Inspiration has a price. Love is free. What happened to your first love? We must remember that life is a gift. If you no longer had a purpose, you would cease to exist. Relationships are important. Word, are the best way to let your loved ones know how you feel. Give flowers now. Show love now, hug now. Life can have twists and turns. Until we learn to handle it Love can make you cry.
