Leverage Twitter with affiliate marketing to earn money

Any successful affiliate marketer will tell you that moderation and timing are the key to optimizing your social media. When you establish the best times and days to post, what type of content to provide, and which audience to target, you’ll realize the potential for social exposure. Facebook alone has more than 1.5 billion active users, not counting Google+, Twitter, and YouTube, to name just a few. And when you learn how to tap into these audiences, you’ll soon find your blogs flooding with targeted, interested visitors. But it takes time.

Google traffic is harnessed by means of WordPress plugins, because this is how your blog and/or website gets recognized by major search engines. But the question is… Which plugins are the right ones, what kind of plugins should you install and what is their purpose? As much as I’d love to, I couldn’t cover all of this in a single blog post unless I want to keep writing for a couple of weeks or so. WordPress and SEO tactics are among the absolute favorites used by all Super Affiliate marketers, and believe me, they all use plugins to get hundreds of thousands of visitors per day. But as I mentioned before, more than just plugins are needed. It’s all part of a much larger toolbox you need to build if you’re going to make life-changing money online.

Regardless of the tools you choose to use, any tool only works as well as the person using it. Successful online marketing comes down to content, useful and original content is what makes the real money online.

How to create useful and interesting content

But how do you write useful and interesting content? The best word to describe that will be knowledge, which can only be gained through personal trial and error. You need to develop your own tactics, and that can only be done by constantly testing other concepts and building your own collection. As an affiliate marketer, product knowledge plays an important role, so you should buy and use the product you intend to promote. It’s the only way you’ll inspire curiosity in your audience, and that’s a great starting point for visitor sales conversion. As you progress, your knowledge will expand because you also need to network with other professionals within your niche. Share ideas and tactics, but try to avoid sales pitches because that’s not what professional engagement is about. You need to learn as much as you can first, and then your content will improve accordingly.

Let’s briefly look at the difference between a widget and a plugin.

What is a widget? – A widget is what you see primarily in a sidebar and includes options like social follow buttons and web forms. Favorite widgets also include the option to search your site, recent comments, and recent posts. Meta tags and archives are also widgets used by the most successful affiliate marketers. Widgets act as a kind of guide for your visitor to see the different options provided on your website and/or blog.

What is a plugin? – A plugin is primarily a tool that runs in the background that helps with things like SEO and faster page ranking on Google. You are also responsible for tracking your visitors and analytics results, so you can track and optimize your visitors. A plugin is also the professional way to cloak your affiliate links by linking to your main domain. So instead of seeing an affiliate link, Google Spider sees a subdomain for your main domain that is more likely to be favored. A great link cloaking plugin is Pretty Link Late, and it doesn’t just cloak your link. It also provides you with analytics results so you can see all the clicks and unique visitors, this way you can determine the most loved affiliate offer by your audience.

But, all this can sound quite confusing when you are just starting out. You can do all of this yourself or you can let a professional Webmaster do it for you. This is also a great option, because you can have someone else build your Empire for you, while you learn to do it all yourself.

Now we all know that Google and Facebook had become the two Traffic Giants followed by YouTube. And for good reason, because we’re talking billions of unique monthly visitors from the two giants combined. However, wouldn’t you agree that we may have neglected Twitter and LinkedIn a bit?

They may not be as big as Facebook and Google… However, but believe me, they are working on it! The “trick” is to link your social profiles so that when you tweet or re-tweet on Twitter, it’s automatically shared on sites like Facebook. The same goes for LinkedIn, when you post on this social site, it will also be shared automatically.

That is why This Twitter plugin is so valuable, and you can see it in action with the Tweetable content at the top of this post. It’s just one of the many methods and tactics used by all successful bloggers and affiliate marketers.

You should never be a faceless profile, not even a picture of your beloved cat. I love my cat very much too, but that doesn’t change the fact that she (Bast) isn’t the one posting on my profiles, it’s me. The professional way is to have a full frontal image of yourself, like a passport photo, because the public enjoys connecting if they see a person.

Fill out your bio and add your projects and interests. Get your social profile as professionally complete as possible because that’s how you get recognized as a professional. This also applies to your Blog, allow your audience the assurance that you are real and offer them the solutions they are looking for.

Let me place an exclamation point on the fact that these are Tools and Training, none of these are Magic Buttons that will turn your PC into an ATM. There’s nothing like it, and I know this because I used to be a leading contender in the race to find that illusive “Magic Button.”

Earning Money online is an Art, and it is a combination of Methods, Tactics, Programs and Tools that are part of a much larger machine.
