Acura RL – One of the best iconic luxury cars produced by Acura

Acura RL is one of the best flagship luxury cars produced by Acura, a luxury brand of Honda Motor Company. The Acura division supplies its products only in Canada, the United States and Hong Kong. The current generation Acura TL is also considered by many to be the fourth generation Honda Legend. It was launched in the North American automobile market for the first time in the year 2004.

The second generation of the Acura RL launched in 2009 is the product of the Mid Model Change, the most impressive MMC in the brand’s history of more than 20 years. The third generation Acura RL model was also one of the revised Honda Legend models released in the North American market in 1996 to replace the second generation Acura Legend. Acura RL is built in Japan’s Saitama, the same factory that produces the Honda Legend. Due to the economic downturn during 2008, the fourth generation Acura RL was rumored to be launched in late 2010 with rear-wheel drive and a V8 engine.

The first generation Acura 3.5 RL, known internally as the KA9, replaced the Acura Legend in 1996. This car was nominated for Road Luxury. Later versions of this car included ease of transmission placement for weight distribution and longitudinal engines. In the year 1999, the 3.5L model was launched which included integrated fog lights and more stylish HID xenon headlamps. Airbags have also been added in this mode to improve the safety of the front passengers and the driver. The engine produced a power of 225 hp together with a torque of 313 NM. During the 8 marketing years from 1996 to 2004, no VTEC engines were used in this model.
