3 reasons to stop eating sugar

We are used to believing that sugar is life. For many of us, giving up sweets is true heresy. We believe that the worst thing about diabetes is that you can’t eat sweets.

A couple of years ago, I couldn’t imagine giving up sugar. It was everything to me!

My whole world revolved around its sweet taste and the pleasure it brought. She firmly believed that life would not be worth living without sugar.

Later I realized that something was wrong, that I depended too much on sweets. I did a lot of research and stopped eating sugar for good.

Here are the main reasons why.

Addiction

Sugar is highly addictive. Your body loves it for all the easy-to-consume calories it provides.

Sugar is highly palatable, and that’s exactly what our brains want and reward. In the distant past, this was a good strategy. Food was scarce and harnessing the rich source of energy meant surviving in a harsh environment.

Today, it rather means obesity and diabetes, but we cannot explain it to our subconscious.

In addition, the sweet taste is a sign that food can be eaten safely, and we learn it from birth thanks to our mother’s breast milk. That’s right, it’s also a little sweet because of the lactose it contains.

In short, sugar offers an incredible combination that is hard to resist and connects you once and for all.

Addiction is not the only danger of sugar. This substance is also responsible for the obesity epidemic at hand.

Did you know that by 2050, obese people will make up the majority of the population? Well, sugar is responsible for it.

It does it in a rather complicated way. First, it makes your body more resistant to insulin. This makes your pancreas work harder and produce more insulin each time you eat, storing much of the incoming calories in fat cells.

Second, the extra insulin blocks a hormone called “leptin,” which tells your brain that you’ve had enough to eat. This causes you to eat more because your body thinks it is starving. Note that this is partially true, because a large part of his food was converted to fat.

Sugar also causes visceral fat, the most dangerous fat there is. there is a term “TOFF”, which means “thin on the outside, fat on the inside”. This is a very serious condition, as the fat-covered organs can fail at any time.

Finally, sugar leads to deadly diseases. The first is diabetes. As you know, sugar makes your body more resistant to insulin. When you abuse sugar enough, it becomes chronic.

When this happens, your body loses its ability to process the incoming food. Since most of the things you eat are converted to blood sugar before further processing, high insulin resistance means certain death. This is the point where people need insulin injections just to stay alive.

Corporations tell us that diabetes is hereditary, and this is partly true. Type 1 diabetes is indeed caused by genes, but that is an absolute minority of cases. Most are type 2, which can easily be acquired if sugar intake is not taken care of.

The second threat associated with sugar is cancer. Numerous studies have shown that high sugar levels can lead to the development of cancer cells. It makes a lot of sense because sugar is a great nutrient. Having a lot in your bloodstream gives your enemy the energy to survive and thrive.

Think about it when you eat that extra chocolate bar. Do you really want to risk it? Especially considering many other health problems that sugar causes directly or indirectly.

I am pretty sure that in the future we will find out more about the deadly effects of sugar on our health. What you need to do now is avoid sugar as much as possible, because corporations have weaponized it against us.

Avoid all sweet drinks, stay away from processed foods as much as possible, and replace sweets with fruit. It will be difficult at first, but your body will thank you later.
