Stay-at-home mom turned real estate entrepreneur: an inspiring success story

Real estate investing has given me many things. These things are a good career, personal fulfillment, and most importantly, huge sources of income that would otherwise be difficult to achieve with a nine-to-five job. With a real estate investment, I can do things that I never thought were possible and I no longer depended on my husband for money. I became financially independent and secure with this fabulous money-making company.

It all started when I got bored as a housewife. I needed to do something that would keep me busy and at the same time provide me with the extra money I needed. I met a friend who introduced me to real estate investing and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I found a property that offered a good leasing option. The offer was a lease option of $ 33,000 for 3 years with no rent increase. This deal came with a penalty-free “exit” option and a renewal option after the 3-year lease. I can renew the property for another 3 years at a low cost of $ 100. I was very excited and saw this deal as a great opportunity to earn money.

So I took the deal and looked for a tenant so I could sublet the property and make a profit. This property was located in a privileged area and was valued at $ 45,000. I figured if I paid for the place at $ 300 a month, I might find a good tenant who would rent it to me for more.

Fortunately, I found myself a great tenant with a stable job and career. This tenant agreed to sublet the property and pay me $ 720 each month. I was ecstatic! I found a great company to make money without spending anything. I made a monthly profit of $ 420 since the owner paid the property taxes.

This is just one example of how you can make real money in real estate without equity or credit. Some people say that maybe I was lucky. Many even said that deals like the ones I had are hard to find. While this may be true in some ways, my fortunate experience still does not negate the idea that there is indeed money in real estate investing. All it takes is to make a bold move and enter the real estate investment field with an open mind.

I will never forget my first deal as it opened up many opportunities for me. As I became more and more knowledgeable about real estate investing, I was able to venture into many other things. I am now the author of two books on real estate and hundreds of articles. Sure, making a real estate investment can be scary, especially if you don’t know anything about it.
