Remedies for inner ear infection

Inner ear infections can be caused by viruses or bacteria. Symptoms include ringing in the ears (tinnitus), hearing loss, loss of balance, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Fortunately, there are excellent natural remedies for inner ear infection that can help fight the infection and return the body to optimal health.

Let’s take a look at these natural remedies for inner ear infection:

Glycerin nasal spray
To relieve ringing in the ears, hearing loss, balance problems, and dizziness, a glycerin nasal spray can help. Mix one teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of glycerin in 1 pint (600 ml) of warm water. Use a nasal spray bottle to spray each nostril with the solution until it begins to drain into the back of your throat. You can also spray the throat. Repeat the procedure several times a day.

Vitamin C
One of the most popular remedies for inner ear infections is vitamin C. High doses of vitamin C can increase the activity of white blood cells to help fight infections. At the onset of symptoms, take 1 gram of vitamin C every hour until you have loose stools. Dosing with vitamin C until you reach “bowel tolerance” indicates that your tissues are saturated with vitamin C, and any excess is shed in your urine and feces. At this stage, your immune system will be working more efficiently.

Garlic
Garlic is a powerful antimicrobial. Garlic can be eaten raw or grated in teas, soups, stir-fries, or juices. Try to consume at least 1 clove a day.

antimicrobial herbs
Herbs can generate protection and natural immunity for all kinds of infections. Olive leaf extract, astragalus, and echinacea (which is particularly good for children) are all good choices as effective inner ear infection remedies. These herbs can be taken as a tea or in liquid, capsule, or tablet form.

B vitamins
B vitamins are essential for a healthy nerve supply to the ears. The most important B vitamins for ear problems are vitamin B3 or niacin and vitamin B6. Niacin improves circulation in the ears, while vitamin B6 is essential for nerve health.

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)
Chronically infected ears may be due to a deficiency of Coenzyme Q10. Coenzyme Q10 plays a critical role in energy production in every cell in your body. In fact, it is often referred to as Nature’s “power plug.” A deficiency of coenzyme Q10 can lead to fatigue, poor immunity, premature aging and other associated diseases.

Manganese
A manganese deficiency has been linked to ear disorders. At least 5 mg twice daily is recommended for optimal ear function.

ginkgo biloba
One of the most traditional remedies for inner ear infection is the herb Ginkgo biloba. It is used as a treatment for vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and a variety of neurological disorders and circulation problems. Gingko works by improving the circulatory system. In clinical trials, ginkgo has improved hearing loss in the elderly. It may need to be taken for 3 months or more to show obvious improvement in symptoms.
