What surfaces will this paper adhere to?

There really aren’t many surfaces that you can’t adhere to clear contact paper, including flower pots, trash cans, and even photo frames. One thing to keep in mind when making these types of creations is that you will be using the back of the contact paper, so when you flip the object over to stick it on the surface of your choice, you are inverting the captured image. It is like looking in a mirror; the object is reflected or inverted when applied to a surface. If you use a type of transparent, low-tack contact paper, you can easily remove the paper in the future. This is a great idea if you are using the rental property document.

To cover the window panes with clear adhesive paper, you will first need to measure the window. The older the windows, the less likely they are to be exactly square, so the measurement becomes critical. Write down the measurements so you don’t forget, and then cut the paper with scissors or a craft knife if you prefer.

Before attaching the contact pieces that you have cut, you can decorate them if you wish by first pressing the patterns on the backing of the paper. Before placing the paper on the window surface, it must be cleaned and allowed to dry completely. To avoid leaving fingerprints on the contact paper while applying the paper to the window, use a sheet of plain paper to smooth the paper on the window to make sure there are no bubbles.
